American Idol Influence

So I'm not gonna lie to you....we love American Idol (even with stupid Sanjaya). Don't miss it each week. And talk about how t.v. and the media influences on our children ~ last night Jordin was sporting a cute 80's style hairdo on the show -- a ponytail off to the side. Guess who had to have their hair like that this morning? Yup...our future American Idol...Gracie. It was so cute and she was very excited. She also informed me that she is NOT CUTE she is pretty - HA. In addition, she asked me if she can say the words "sexy" and "hot". OMG!!!! I of course said....no thank you to SEXY and said she can use hot if it is warm outside and she is sweaty!! Good Lord.

Easter 2007

Easter arrived again this year with a forecast that said rain but it turned out to be great in the morning and just perfect for egg hunting. We spent the day @ Carl and Deb's. Had a great meal of course. Kara and Gracie had fun finding all the eggs (Kayla is all grown up...she just supervises like the rest of us). Hope everyone else had a great day as well.
