Seaside, OR - Happy 4th of July 2008

Another trip to Seaside this year. The weather wasn't the best we have had, but we couldn't complain - we were just happy to be there together. Don't have too many pictures as some are loaded at my home computer, but here are a few to share. The kids got matching sweatshirts which made for a fun/great picture. We have Dylan, Gracie, Haley, Cara, Kaitlyn and Kayla.

Carlie, me, Cara and Gracie went looking sand dollars one morning. Lots of fun!

Gracie NEVER goes back to bed, but after our sand dollar hunt, she was wiped out.

Cara and Gracie had to ride the tilt a whirl of course. Gracie is a maniac..even Cara said she wanted to go faster!

I have some other really great pictures....if I can figure out out to get them off the site and on my computer, I will add some later as I have some good ones (although I have a feeling that is not going to happen!! HA).

Kindergarten Graduate

Our Miss Gracie is officially a 1st Grader! Time is just wizzing by and the thought of her starting elementary school this fall just blows us away. She attended Kindgarten thru Kindercare and although we had some initial concerns, it turned out to be great. She was in all day school with only 6 other children and her teacher, Miss Rolf was wonderful. We are so proud of you Gracie!

Gracie before the ceremony at home next to her Great Grandma Bev's Peonies.

Gracie with a few other "class of 2008 "graduates/friends. Abby, Stephanie and Gracie.

Gracie with Miss Rolf and her diploma.

We did have a little excitement at the ceremony. We had to evacuate the building due to smoke. Smelled like an electrical problem and there was alot of smoke. I have to admit..it was a little scary. Turned out to be a belt in the furnace is all, but made for a good story!

"Home Sweet Home" Dance Recital

Gracie was a part of the YMCA dance program this year. She was in a hip/hop/tap class and they had a recital on June 7, 2008. The theme was Home Sweet Home so there were dances for each "room". Gracie's class was in the garage and performed a dance to "Bob the Builder". Here are some pictures to share.
Our little "mechanic"

The Scanlon girls were there to dance as well! Too cute! Thank you to the Scanlon family for all your help with rehersal while I was having my procedure - we appreciate it so much!

Gracie with her friend Molly. They have known each other since they were 2 thru Kindercare and have stayed fast friends. Miss Molly was a French Maid...oh la la.

Here is a picture of the garage set on rehersal night.

Also, thank you Daddy for being Mr. Mom....you were AWESOME!! It all went without a hitch. We were also so glad that Aaron, Grandma Debbie, Grandma Barb, Auntie Kelly and Auntie Carleena could share in her day. It meant alot to her that you were there.

Aaron - June 2008

As you may know, Aaron was able to come home in June for 2 weeks to be with me during my port/lymphnode procedure. Finally getting a chance to try and get back on the blog....I have missed you all and post some pictures. Some you may have seen, some maybe not. But I will update to keep as my own little journal to look back on every know and then, ya know?!
