Crack Kills

The question of the day ~ Will Gracie ever grow a butt? I think these pants are done...all we got all evening on Sunday was Gracie's adorable crack. She'll love these when I pull 'em out at graduation time I am sure!

Gracie loves Melissa!!
Melissa and Gracie playing -- notice the awesome green shag carpet at their new place. Gotta love it!
Melissa throwing Gracie around like a rag doll...she was loving every second of it!

Don't grow up too fast

Good Wednesday Morning Family and Friends!

I know there will be a time too soon that Gracie will not finish cleaning her room at mach speed because she hears her Daddy on the riding lawn mower and just couldn't miss it. This was the situation last night. In the middle of cleaning her room....she hears the lawn mower. I have never seen her move so fast especially to clean her room. She loves getting on the rider with Carlie. She even got to drive a little bit which she thinks is really cool.

Gracie is into picking out her own clothes for daycare. She does a pretty good job. Of course, every other picture she is wearing this Hello Kitty shirt Melissa got for her for her birthday. I am not sure how she is going to take it when it doesn't fit anymore or falls apart from the constant washing - which ever comes first!

Have a great day everyone!

Mother's Day at the track

We again went to Emerald Downs to celebrate Mother's Day as well as Carl and Deb's birthdays. The place was packed, but we got there early, settled in and started our bets. It was a tough winnings day, but we had some wins here and there. We bet on one horse that ended up breaking his leg and had to be put down (poor horsey) -- so don't call me for any picks!

Kayla, Gracie and Cara at the circle waiting to see the horses for the 1st race. Yes, that is another big bump on Gracie's head. It was a scary one -- had a fight with our nightstand and the nightstand won. She is fine though -- just in time for class pictures next week of course!
Gotta love the pony rides!
Cara is a good sport!
Gracie and Cara got their faces painted.
A sign of a good day....Gracie was just plumb whooped!

Night Night Gracie. XXOO

Hangin' with the Hayes'

Spent some time with the Hayes family this weekend. Had some great dinners and some good games of UNO. For the record, Hayes' 4; DiOrio's 0. Bottom line..they kicked our butts all 4 games. Kameron was a jewel just chillin' while we played and the girls obviously had no problem entertaining themselves.

Revised Aaron Update

Aaron just called. His deployment has been delayed - he is now schedule to leave around May 28th. Doesn't hurt my feelings!!! I like him in the U.S.

Thank You Headband/Aaron Update

I had to share the pretty headband that Julie Roulst made for Gracie as a thank you for Justus' bday present. They are very fun and pretty. She got an orange one and I think a pink one as well (my mind just comes and goes these days -- I think pink).

Also wanted to give an update on Aaron. He is going through his checkoff for deployment this morning and leaves on Monday. He is promising me that he will try to email more while he is gone since the internet will probably be the most accessible form of communication. Remember...he is terrible about writing but I hope he will be better on the deployment to let us know how he is and that he is safe. I'll keep everyone posted as soon as I hear from him after Monday.

Have a great day everyone!

FISH ON!

Went with friends for our 3rd Opening Day Fishing/Camping trip to Haven Lake, Belfair Wa. Great time was had by all ~ lots of kids, quads, drink and laughs. Thanks MacKenzie family!

Love this picture of Gracie that Carlie took. Her 1st official fish catch. With her Barbie pole to boot!

Got alittle rained on on Friday. The girls didn't care - Gracie (5), Kamey Wadley (2 1/2) and Emma Lee MacKenzie (5 1/2)

Watch out - Gracie's driving!

Daddy taking Gracie for a "real" ride. She loves it!
